NATIONAL DOOR MANUFACTURER ANNOUNCES $26 MILLION EXPANSION IN GALLATIN, ADDING 85 NEW JOBS

GALLATIN, TN – CDF Distributors, a national leader in commercial door manufacturing and distribution, announces plans to expand its Gallatin operations with a significant $26 million capital investment and create 85 new jobs. The company will relocate to a 194,000-square-foot facility at 375 Belvedere Drive North, a site previously occupied by Simpson Strong-Tie. Today’s announcement marks a major milestone for CDF Distributors, which has been headquartered in Gallatin for 12 years.

“Our expansion in Gallatin shows the strength of this region and the people who make our company successful,” said Wayne Foreman, President & CEO of CDF Distributors. “Middle Tennessee offers the skilled talent, central location, and business climate needed to compete nationwide. We’re grateful for the continued support from the City of Gallatin as we continue to invest in this community and our employees.”

CDF—short for Commercial Doors Fast—is recognized for its innovative solutions that make production lead times a thing of the past. The company’s expanded operations in Gallatin will bring all manufacturing in-house, including metal fabrication and welding, CNC machining, staining and painting, and wood fabrication, while also serving as the logistics hub for its nine distribution warehouses across the U.S.

“CDF Distributors has been an important part of Gallatin’s business community for more than a decade,” said City of Gallatin Mayor Paige Brown. “This expansion reflects both their confidence in our city and our ability to support innovative, growing companies. We are proud to see them expand their footprint and continue creating quality jobs for our residents.”

Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2025, with completion expected by January 2026. Once operational, Gallatin will increase CDF’s annual production capacity from 50,000 to 250,000 units, enabling the company to meet surging demand while maintaining its reputation for quality, speed and service.

“CDF’s decision to expand in Gallatin demonstrates a long-term commitment to both their employees and this community,” said Rosemary Bates, Executive Director of the Gallatin Economic Development Agency. “Their investment highlights the strength of our skilled workforce and reinforces Gallatin’s reputation as an ideal place for innovative companies to serve customers nationwide.”
