WEYERHAEUSER SELECTS GALLATIN FOR FIRST FACILITY IN TENNESSEE

GALLATIN, TN – Weyerhaeuser Company, one of the world’s largest forest products companies, has selected Gallatin for a new wood products distribution center that will strengthen its ability to serve customers and manufacturing partners across the Southeast. The project represents Weyerhaeuser’s first operational facility in Tennessee.‍

Located on a 13.83-acre greenfield site at 615 Rappahannock Wire Road, the new facility will include 96,250 square feet of warehouse space and approximately six acres of outdoor yard storage to support inbound and outbound shipments. The industrial site's close proximity to Interstate 40 and Interstate 65 allows Weyerhaeuser to efficiently serve the rapidly growing markets of Middle Tennessee, Knoxville and surrounding states.

The Gallatin facility is expected to be fully operational before the end of 2026 and will become the 22nd location in Weyerhaeuser’s distribution network, complementing operations in Richmond, Charlotte, and Atlanta while supporting the continued growth of proprietary products like Trus Joist® Engineered Lumber, Weyerhaeuser Enhanced OSB Flooring Panels, and Weyerhaeuser Framer Series™ Lumber across the Southeast.
